stillnzcookie
If you put four goldfish in, where would the water go? That is a tiny tank! Seriously, I would have thought there would be some fish that might survive in there, but not many that would thrive? The only fish that immediately sprang to mind (other than a betta) was a sparkling gourami, but I don't know much about them, so that may be a bad idea. Sorry I can't be of any help! There should still be people around keeping/breeding them..

ryanjury
They are so cool. Are they quite pricey? I heard they are somewhat difficult to keep, have you found that to be true? I just have them in a 30 x 30 x 30cm tank unheated in the fishroom, they eat anything and so far seem undemanding? The guy I got them off has had them for ages with no problems and bred them previously too. I think it maybe like all fish sometimes bad batches come in, and also these guys are a new discovery so all fish would be fairly close to wild so maybe they don't thrive as much if they are just thrown into a tank with different water parameters (I researched and replicated their wild conditions) and bigger fish that would chase them around all day? I have seen alot of spawning type activity from them but I am going away so cannot do it properly just loaded the tank up with moss and hope some fry survive. Navarre
what about those scarlet badis badis ( i think thats what they are called) Only get to about 2 cm. you can spawn them and would look alright in a tank that size with mucho grande mainatinance? And there are a few around

I think badis and dario are slightly different, apparently dario are under 2.5cm max and badis are 4 to 5 cm max. Dario also lack the badis' dark spots at the base of the caudal fin and under the eye. Have seen some dario around and they are sooo cute!
