Adrienne
Has anyone seen the three tanks with killies at HFF. If so are the killies with black and white stripes clown killies or are they something different. It was my understanding that killies jump - do they or do they not. I noticed none of their tanks had lids on.
SamH
Killies are said to jump, I have a clown killie in my rimless two footer though.
oeminx
I do believe that there were some clown killies there. Goggole "Pseudepiplatys annulatus" for a image of clown killies.

The earth is flat No not all killies jump Clowns or Rockets look like I have never had one jump Roughly half of Killis will jump
oeminx
I have only ever had 2 jump and they were both young Australe males, and they both made is out of a 5or 6mm gap.

Wok
Very few of my killies ever jumped. they are still reminders for all other killies of what will happen to them if they jump.
Stephanie
Now i'm confused. I bought two of these yesterday because I fell in love (first Killies!) and mine look like the one above but have an orange stripe down the middle and the pictures show a red, more impressive tail. I don't know if maybe they're just young or if they're slightly different fish. Either way they're cute.

You will probably have Bitaenitaum My spelling is wrong Im sure and I cant check it as Im away at the moment Have yours got a large tail and high dorsal fin? Bits were selling at $80 a pair 12 months ago and I know Hollywoods were not selling at anything like that price
Stephanie
I think it's the first one mentioned but see what I mean about the tail? Excuse the quality of the picture, he's a little camera shy. Whatever they are I can totally see how you've become addicted to these fish Barrie.
