Jennifer
I came across a very tiny cichlid in a thread a while back but I can't remember the topic or the name of them. These fish are tiny, tetra sized, and I think they were slightly rosy in colour. I saw a pic of them in a planted nano tank and they looked great. Wondering what they are called and if they are available here?
antwan
Not these by any chance are they? http://www.fishforums.com/forum/labyrin ... dario.html Dario dario If so, you're in luck cos Organism has some at the mo Oh yea, they're not cichlids, but they do look a lot like one
Ira
I think the smallest relatively common cichlids are apistogrammas. Otherwise maybe you're thinking of Kribensis? They have some rosyness to them.

Carlos & Siran
While we're talking about Kribs at what age can you correctly Identify between male and female? We have two weens aprox 2cms long, one a bit bigger than the other that has good colouring and we're fairly certain it has a rounded dorsal fin at the end, the other is quite a bit smaller and we can't be sure of the fin shape, is it best to leave them until they are sexually mature or does it become pretty obvious fairly soon? Cheers
Guest
I can sex mine at about 4cms if the females get a opink belly and sometimes the males will get a faint spot on thier tails. I may have to get some of these to put in my planted tank for the tank competition (pity they're $17ea :-? )
