DonnaM
Hi guys, I thought I'd tell you a few of the latest rescue turtle stories. I thought they may be interesting/helpful to people. Ninas Story. Nina was found wandering in someones garden early spring. She was covered in soft spots over head and limbs, but shell was unmarked. Shell had several tissue thin layers of unshed scutes which had gone flakey.

livingart
nice one donna i wonder if insects have been chewing on it during hibernation?
DonnaM
Thanks bdspider. They really are very cruisey basking up there with 100s of people less then a metre away. (23,000 people last year in 2 weeks) Not sure LA. Almost like a thorn bush look, but then nothing on shell, so may well have been insects. After the scab came off her chin. Sores healed
