Question on Frontosa

they are fairly slow growing

I have my small ones in a 400ltr tank and they are growing faster than all my other fish.

I guess if you feed them right and they have enough space they grow fast. but they will need a big tank when fully grown, 8ft+. Also depends how many you are wanting to keep.

The most common recommendation I have seen for a minimum tank size is 6 x 2 x 2ft but bigger is always better.. Also be aware they munch up other fish like adult yellows and stuff when they get bigger :) Cool fish but I can guarantee there are many in NZ who now own them and have no idea what they have purchased :(
