I guess if you feed them right and they have enough space they grow fast. but they will need a big tank when fully grown, 8ft+. Also depends how many you are wanting to keep. ryanjury Posted November 9, 2009 Report Share Posted November 9, 2009 The most common recommendation I have seen for a minimum tank size is 6 x 2 x 2ft but bigger is always better.. ryanjury Posted November 10, 2009 Report Share Posted November 10, 2009 450L would be a good start but you would have to upgrade I would be worried about getting a smaller number and ending up with the wrong ratio if you were getting 4-6.
