Just a quick release system with non return valves. A primer pump that actually works and the UV lamp has a separate on/off switch so I can be used as and when its needed. If I had to pick a fault I would say that the baskets inside fit too tight and need a bit if a jiggle to remove. Other than that I can fault it. Ive had mine for about a year. Thanks for the replies - im tossing up between the 1000 sunsun , and an aquaone cf1000 - if anyone else has feedback on these 2 units that would be appreciated..
