LYNDYLOO
Personally I would go with only one, but I guess you could go with 2-3 in a Breeding Trap. Good Luck
Cricketman
if you have a decent bunch of java moss for them to hide in, you shouldnt need a breeding trap. the babies will hide-out in the moss and the adult either wont seee them or can t get into it to get them, its all ive ever used! alanmin4304
If you wish to breed serious numbers of livebearers it is a good idea to build a good sized trap in a seperate tank where you can leave a good number of gravid females in there semi permanently. twinkles
duckweed is good for hiding the babies too, if you can stand the sight of it in the tank

Guest
You have to make the big ones. I think the biggest plastic ones you can buy are 2ltrs and they work well.
Adrienne
You'd be better putting lots of plants in your tank than you would having more than one female in a net otherwise you'll find that as the fry are born the other female will be having a nice snack! alanmin4304
You make a "V' trap in a seperate tank and put the gravid females in there so they don't get stressed by being moved at the last minute. I used one that took about 12 females and another that took about 30.
