Aren't you a star. 8) That's ok tho, I was just dreaming....my tanks are chocka at the mo so would have to get a new tank (....hmmmmm :roll: :lol: ) I will just sit and hope that my brown algae turns green someday .... :wink:

N1CK: mwahhhhhaaa, that's brill!!! :bounce: But I still think soft mossy algae on rocks is still cool. 8)

Yush! The BN eggs hatched today, quite a few of the little fullas holding onto the driftwood, one was over by its mum but not there anymore. Luckily I noticed the eggs a few days ago, evac'ed the fish and covered the filter intake. They're so cute!

Congrats! They'll take about a week to start coming out and about.

sorry a bit off topic but i was just wondering something...

...in the stunning planted tanks that you see pictures of in competitions, how do they keep the white sand nice and clean and bright.

you always see the sand algae free and clean, do they clean it before photos are taken or is it just well maintained?

Thank you for asking N1CK, I obviously can't keep them all, probably none at all even.

If the amount in there at the moment all survive, they'll be going for cheap as. I don't plan on moving them, water looks good, no predators and they have plenty of food so I don't see why they wouldn't survive.

The one in the pic is really small, maybe 10mm max total.
