bottlerocket
Has anyone couriered a tank and stand any where in NZ. If so who did you use and what sort of cost was it. How do the pet shops that ship do it.
Deno
you'd be a brave person to do that I reckon
Aquila
I think pet shops use furniture moving trucks. That is what HHF in Auckland told me ...they would ship with for $50.
Cricketman
where you sending it? your best idea if you had to send it, would to pack out the inside with styrofoam cu to size or something similiar to provide internal support if it gets a bit of pressure on it, then put it in a box with same outside. stands are resilient enough if you wrap them in cardboard to avoid scratches. costing would be mega, depending on size of the tank. if your talking up to a 2ft your not too bad as it should still be under 20-30 kg, and one person could technically lift it. but much over that, your looking at 2 people lifts and alot more packaging/space, to the point it might be cheaper to buy locally.
