Morcs
I just found a skink in my office. Identified as a northern brown or shore skink. Both endangered. Anyone keep skinks? what are their requirements? do they grow? Hes in a little home made from a cardboard box right now. Will quite happily sit on my hand whilst im walking around too! On that note, does anyone want him? I dont want a reptile setup just yet, lol.

broms2
living art is right, even a permit holder is not allowed wild caught, only captive breed. pretty cool finding one at work though, makes the day interesting, find somewhere quiet outside you work and put it there. broms2
yeah natives are cool, all you need is a permit, not hard to get, just need an outdoor enclosure made to Doc requirements, funnily enough not many people keep native skinks ( legally anyway) if you want info on getting a permit pm me and I will send to you
BikBok
are you sure he's not an australian rainbow skink? Quite common in Auckland gardens.. We had one .. laid eggs , that's how we knew she wasn't a copper skink!
