Ira
If you think it's something like a toadstool leather, then yes it probably is what you think it is.
Zev
I was thinking of something less desirable to have in a marine tank...

Zev
i don't think its aiptasia does it have a mouth in the middle of disc I don't know, it was in the LFS and the tank was too high up for me to see the top of it...
suphew
Need to see the top, but I would say Majano. I have plenty if you would like some

Zev
Need to see the top, but I would say Majano. I have plenty if you would like some  Err, thanks for the generous offer, but I have enough trouble with one tank invading BTA, let alone a bunch of fast replicating stinging tribbles! Zev
They split and replicate very fast, sting other inhabitants into submission, take over the tank....
phoenix44
get some clowns! well.. maybe not such a great suggestion - youll have to get rid of the rest if they get stung.

Ira
I'm still not convinced that it's a majano just from that picture. I had a small leather frag that looked identical to that when it was a little unhappy and the frills on the polyps hadn't opened yet. And majanos seem to tend more towards greeny with bulgy tentacles.
Loopy
lolage. did you buy it?    Really pays to do your research doesn't it. "I want THAT one with the cute lil bubbly thing!!" **Loopy runs and hides in shame**
Zev
The colour would depend on what lighting is on the tank? I will go in and get the ladder and take another pic if I have time - just to see if it has a mouth.
livingart
if it has a mouth don't listen to anything it has to say they are sneaky those majanos
