bulldogod
lol, Yeah I did and seen some phones that you can have 2 sim cards in but dont know how they work?
Wok
they would be good if you are travelling overseas, one sim for making local calls, and the other one to receive calls from home. another way is locally now with 2 degrees. Vodafone to receive your calls use 2 degrees to send messages and make calls. win win.
Caryl
I have not seen 2 sim phones but have ordered a sim from 2 degrees 8) Will have to decide what phone number I want - one I can remember!
phoenix44
its as simple as choosing which line to use on some phones. line 1 and line 2. just choose what one you need and then make the call i think.
Phantom
Most dual SIM phones will only operate using one or the other. Some require a restart to switch, some can turn off the cell functions while the phone is running and make the switch then. I have heard of 1 phone that allows both to operate at the same time. Can't remember what model it is though. Either way, you're probably going to spend more money on such a device than you would picking a single provider and living with slightly higher charges for one aspect. I guess the real exception is if you're doing it to take advantage of on-net deals that other people you know use.
Jasmine
I've got a dual sim card phone, and they both work at the same time. You can pick if you want to send calls/texts from sim 1 or 2 when you go to send them.
