Baby Angel Fish

Use a piece of pipe to syphon up the Fish Waste.

I used to take the pipe off the end of my Gravel Vac, and use that.

They dont need to be in alot of water at this stage, depth wise I mean. I would have the depth somewhere round 10cm.

Water Changes everyday would be good too.

Sweet, that will be all good then.

I just laid my heater on the tank floor when I was raising Baby Angels.

I didn't have a filter in my tank, as long as you are doing small water changes everyday and syphoning out the Waste you shouldn't need a filter yet.

I would think about a filter for them when they're a little bigger.

Congratulations :hail:

You seem to be doing it right so far.

I put my heater along the back wall on it's side without any ill effects.

Now your biggest task is keeping their bellies full of food at least 15 hours out of 24; and doing a 20% water change every 2 days with a small syphon hose. This also picks up the detritus from the bottom of the tank.

Good luck.

All sounds like its going well.

I also run sponge filters off an air line in the back corners and an air stone under the heater, this keeps a bit of water movement in the tank.

The young angels will also graze at the filters.
