Deno
I once saw some striking rasbora scissortails, they had red and I think yellow in them. Has anyone else seen them or know anything about them and if theyr'e available?

LYNDYLOO
I'm sure the Pet Shop here in Levin have them, they remind me of Rummy Nose Tetra's without the Rummy Nose. Only ever seen them in silver with the white'ish tail with Black Spots on it. Google will tell you abit more about them.

I hope you have deep pockets as they generally cost close to $50 each depending where you get them from and need to be schools of atleast four. We have them, they're awesome fish. Deno
no those are not the fish I am talking about. I saw them in a LFS and was told they were rasboras
IHBR
Could they have been 'Rasbora caudimaculata' (the Greater Scissortail)?

Heir after having another look and think about I believe you are right, the LFS was wrong, it was several months ago. I tried to buy them but they were not for sale. At $50 each I probably don't need them that badly though.
