AquaVitamins
heyy I have 4 platys in my 60L ATM. One is heavily pregnant and is always hiding. ( thats fine) but the other 3... The ratio is 3:1 female to male. And the male is consistently chasing one of the females!! Why is he only chasing one of the two females in his sight? And when the girl he is always chasing gets away and hides, the male doesnt even look at the other female... :-? Is this behavior going to end up killing the chased female? I have heard of them dieing for stress, but im getting stressed just from watching it!

Aquatopia
sometimes its worth adding a couple more females to see if that changes things. But you are right - if he harasses the same one all the time she could end up stressed (could end up in whitespot outbreak) or worse. Dougstark
Has anyone seen the new tiger platies? My local petshop has some but unfortunately only males. They are a little dearer.
LisaC
I don't know about Tiger platties, but I got a red zebra one today - rather sweet
