mistymu05
I have just noticed a fish in our tank swimming upside down - literally swimming. It a Krib and today a large water change was down... other than that I dont know what else to write - usually we just find the fish already passed... Ideas? Southerrrngirrl
There could be a hundred reasons why it is swimming upside down. Swim bladder problems would be my first guess. Whatever it is, lying on the gravel upside down doesn't sound good. What are the fins like? Are the clamped close to its body? When trying to diagnose a problem, you have to give as much detail as possible. Size of tank, tankmates, whether you have done water tests and the results. Any other symptoms the fish might be displaying? How the other fish appear?
