Hello all,

Just had to stay what a great site this is, have gotten loads of info. I have been cruising around this site since i got the bug about 4 years ago.

In the past i have had several marine tanks, with sea horses, baby paua (aquaculture of course), various anemones, triple fins, hermit crabs, mussels, oysters, kina, starfish and shrimps etc.

About a year ago i traded my big back yard in Auckland for a tiny apartment in nth Japan. Convinced the wife to give up a corner of the living room for a small tank and now i am back finding all sorts of strange creatures to put in it.

Because i am resticted in tank size i decided i would have a bit of fun building a sump with a home made skimmer and fludizied bed bio filter in it. Now i am on the look out for an octopus

Yeah yeah, i know, when does a surfer, become a lurker, become a stalker! I meant to post a thousand times, whenever i had a question, but i usually found the answer some where in other posts. So thanks to those guys and girls who provide that wealth of information.

About the octopus, i have found them at the market, but unfortunately they are huge, they would just fit into my tank. They are such amazing animals, i so much wanted to take them home, because i knew they were destined for the restaurants.
