livingart Posted April 11, 2009 Report Share Posted April 11, 2009 wd's still operate at a lower temp than bd's and bt's had our first frost yesterday (micro climate), wd's still active in outside pen i ran babies in heated pen for 6 weeks then into indoor pen just heated water if they are active and eating it means they are warm enough if they stop eating and try to dig into substrate then they are too cold young wd's may try hiding if there is a lot of movement around enclosure as it is part of their instinct to keep predator safe behaviour is a good indicator of what is going on with your animals Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
