Dave+Amy Posted March 4, 2009 Report Share Posted March 4, 2009 I have 3 plants (no idea which species) and the top leaves are ALL brown I thought it was because they're dying but their lower leaves are dark green still and what's even more weird is that there's heaps of little crypt plantlets growing up around them. I want the leaves to go back to being green...don't know why they're not doing that well in my tank. Do these plants propagate by runners? alanmin4304 Posted March 4, 2009 Report Share Posted March 4, 2009 They may be a brown variety such as (wendtii brown) that has been grown emersed where the leaves are usually green and therefore the new growth would be brown. I put the blue in there cause my bio of plants book said it was good for them.. maybe i was selectively reading. the other plants love it. will these melt on me?
