Dave+Amy
This is our beardy that we got off Mincie after Xmas which we named Tequila after its colouring. We think it might be a boy 'cos he's starting to flare at its own reflection in the glass now. Will put up the photo of the whole terrarium after Rockworks does their magic with our design of the rockwall
bulldogod
Nice, cool name, I used to flare at my own reflection after few slammers of tequila
Dave+Amy
hahaha we always get some everytime we go on a snowboarding trip = GOOD TIMES. We thought we'd keep the alcohol themes with the pets - our lil dog's named Midori.

Dave+Amy
Haven't weighed our lil guy but he's sucha fatty, ours doesn't seem to eat veges at all (tried every trick like grating the carrots into thin strips looking like worms and wriggling it) - we haven't the heart to starve him either we started to restrict his cicada intake when it started to constipate him his eyes are WAY bigger than his stomach! Our dog's developed an unliking to him though, Midori doesn't understand why Tequila gets bugs and she doesn't.
Insect Direct
Our dog's developed an unliking to him though, Midori doesn't understand why Tequila gets bugs and she doesn't. funny how dogs like something so small that doesnt taste like dog tucker..or does it I just weighed the 3 ive got, theyre 48.6g 49g and the one i weighed earlier at 50 is now 55.2g maybe i got weight wrong earlier otherwise thats 5.2g of cockroaches in his belly p.s if you do get a fat beardie and its not really passing anything (suspect constipated) bath in shallow luke warm water should get the motions going again
Dave+Amy
I freaked out the first time I saw him drinking haha looked like he was trying to drown himself in the shallow plate, we're thinking of adding another Beardy for a companion while he's still young so he won't be lonely during daytime - is this safe? Bit worried since he's already flaring at his own image.
Insect Direct
lol yea they quite like water i find, used to let my adults swim in turtle tank/pond thing id put them on basking rock the male would go drink the water the females would go for a swim and return to the rock same with soaking in water i had a female put her head under for over 2minutes once it was like she was asleep under water In regards to adding another, possibly but i find theyre best kept on there own (my adults get tank of there own unless breeding) in saying that i have got my 3 babies together im just feeding them well hoping for the best, also watching/waiting for them to start staunching each other out but so far so good, possibly sell another 1 or 2 at a later date. definitely dont need a "companion" probably best without, theyre solitary critters
Dave+Amy
It wasn't until we saw Rockworks' 3 Beardys together that we thought they looked contempt with life and thought it might be an option to get another one but we've also heard of a horror story from one of Dave's mates that's really put us off
Gecko
Beautiful lizard. We were looking at one at one of the pet shops in New Plymouth. He's such a lovely little man. Makes me want to safe up the money and buy him straight away. I found it quite amazing that they only go toilet once a day.
