alanco Posted December 21, 2008 Report Share Posted December 21, 2008 haha hey there thats very kind of you i might sell some of my guppies when i have as many as you do lol :lol: and as for feeding !! :lol: i know what you mean they always look like they are hungry after i have just feed them a meal iv been wanting to post this pic up for a while this is one of my best guppies i have in my tank i have had from when i started getting in to guppies it might not look that special but if you look very carefully you can read loto on the side of it!!!!! I saw someone on trademe selling them for 25 for 3 snake skins :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: When you see my red tux you will demand it lol they swim so fast aye sometimes I think they got rabies or something !!!! alanco Posted December 22, 2008 Report Share Posted December 22, 2008 exactly or you could even keep the best ones for breeding wow really ! hahah wow post pics of your guppies up would like to see them aye yep ! thats my baby guppies too now ! they dart around the tank alot they look healthy and happy no no i havent got any live plants yet , i put up a post trying to get some hair grass for my new tank trying to get that real cool grass covered ground look did you have any type of ground covering plants? like the runner types oh i think i have some of that plant in my other tank , is it the one that lets off lil plants that float on the top of the water my new tank holds about 200letres yup and my dad just made a real neat stand for it much more stronger and appealing then the ones you get at pet shops it was free too because he gets the cabnit stuff at work, much more cheaper then $170+ ones at the shop Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am moving in the next 6 months I was going to buy one of those big jebo tanks but they are like 700 bucks I might just get a 4 foot normal one for 120 and a stand I dunno Dont really like too much second hand my turtle tank is new Jebo was only 70 lol baby tank second hand and tank in my bedroom only 2 foot spare for turtle so that aint flash 15 babies in there now dunno whats in the fry tank they aint growing too fast though man do those boy guppies chase the girls are you going to get any other fish? apart from guppies Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think the main thing with people paying good $$'s for them is when they are paying for pure strains.. You may well get some nice ones come out of randoms but its getting them to breed true that takes time, many tanks and lots of work.. ryanjury Posted December 24, 2008 Report Share Posted December 24, 2008 You will still be able to breed some awesome guppies and add some different ones to get random babies pop out its always cool to see what happens.. If they are healthy petshops and people will buy them they are getting harder to get with alot of the ones in petshops looking like crap being expensive and just dying So there is no reason why you wont be able to pay for some food and maybe some more fish occasionally from breeding your guppies.. There are neon blue tux guppies around I have a pair and they are breeding like mad will eventually have some for sale if you wanted to add them to your mix to try and get some blues popping out.. aaron11 Posted December 24, 2008 Report Share Posted December 24, 2008 hi thanks got 2 pet shops interested one at 1.00 each and one at 1.50 when they are bigger I gave a few some babies for her girls tank I took one out and put it one of my main tanks be interesting to see what colour its going to blue its top fin was aqua I think i have a sword tail one and also I have some that are metalic purple with orange tails !
