alanmin4304
They feed on infusoria so you feed them that in the form of green water or additives that encourage the growth of it like a little flake fish food. Some people feed yeast but I find it is easy to overfeed and kill them off.
jc360
milk powder, not the skim stuff though, yeast is good too it makes the water green = population explosion. Easy to overfeed i only feed once a week maybe twice. in my 80 liter tub i put only half a teaspoon of powder at a time and only a lite sprinkle of yeast. Wok
With regards to "yeast", Use BREWERS YEAST, this is available from health food shops. You can also use banana skins too. If you use whole bananas make sure you give it a bit of a squish and break the skin a little. You will eventually find little bloodworms in the banana, good food for fish. Dixon1990
When i brought my Dwarf puffers they had just been fed, so the bag was full of daphnia. I put a few into the tank, the rest in the pond. Went into the pond today, heaps of big daphnia and heaps of baby ones
