Please help!!! Missing Bengal Kitten

Please could anyone in the Palmerston North area do me a huge favour and keep an eye out for my missing kitten. He is a silver kitten with black spots, 9 month old boy, neutered and microchipped. There is a chance that he has found his way into a garage or shed and got stuck so if you could have a quick look it would be eternally appreciated. He was last seen on the morning of Sunday the 4th of January and is completely out of character for him to be gone more than a few hours.

I am aware there is a chance he has been stolen for resale so please if you see what you think may be him let me know ASAP. He is likely the only one of his type in Palmy so it is likely to be him.

I need my baby back so badly, a reward will be considered for his safe return to me.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

If anyone can tell me how to post a picture of him on here that would be helpful too. Cheers

my cat had been missing since christmas eve. on friday i dropped some flyers in the neighbouring streets. got a call yesterday afternoon from a lady 1 street over saying she had seen him earlier that day at her house, but didn't know where he was. i took a walk after dinner down the street calling him and he replied! he came running out of the ladies driveway to me.

i went in and thanked her for calling me to find that a stray i had live with us, for a few month, a few years ago, was now living with her. so i had my boy back and found that the other was alive and doing well. great news all round.

so, i suggest:

lost ad on trade me - free

lost ad on www.petsonthenet.co.nz - free

drop some flyers around neighbouring streets - include photos.

put A4 size posters on powerpoles

posters to local shops, pet stores, vets

call spca and ask if they have picked it up

hope you get your baby back soon. i know what your going through!

  • 2 weeks later...

Do keep looking. My beautiful bengal went missing for over 2 weeks. I was convinced I was never to see her again, then we found her about 5 minutes walk from home. They are nosey cats, but he wont be too far away, remember not only are they nosey but also smart. Dont give up, keep looking and calling.

I went out every night for the whole time she was gone. I even went out during the day. Not likely to come out during the day but I knew if she heard me calling she would realise that I wasnt far away and I hadnt forgotten about her.

Hate to say it but it is good to prepare for the worst. It makes it slightly easier if the worst does happen and makes it over a million times better when your baby comes home!

Keep us informed. Thinking good thoughts for you :)
