David R
Anyone tried it? This post on MFK got me interested in the idea. Would it be safe to go catch some shrimp at an estuary somewhere, rinse them in fresh water and then feed them to the fish?
henward
i would be weary cathching them close to auckland, water can be slightly polutted some guys sell them though. i dont see a difference feeding dead shrimp over live shrimp. cos the shrimp you get around the beaches are tiny! HaNs
Id keep them in fresh water for a few days and feed them up and let them "clean out" and then feed them.
ryanjury
I used to get them in Auckland from this lake I can't remember where but they were pretty big upto an inch or so and chuck them into the african tanks they loved it and I never had any problems.. My wife is bound to remember where it was if you want the place
