Stella
They could breed. If they all weren't sterile. They USED to be all sterile. Now they "believe" they "won't" breed here.... Heard THAT one before        Making them sterile is easy. I have absolutely no problem with releasing sterile ones. But how do they KNOW they can't breed here? Much harder to remove a thing that has become a pest than it is to make these fish sterile to begin with. Andrew_W
thats why when you see them you take a bow add put a arrow through em. hmm, says no fishing, doesn't say anything about shooting, good thinking 99. only problem is there illegal rules are that the fish must be returned to the dam. oeminx
aaaa it says "must be returned to the dam" Iit does not say "must be returned to the dam in the same state it was this morning" plus that means they are keeping koi which i thought was illegal
Ira
The law states IIRC basically that it A. Cannot be removed from the waterway. B. Cannot be returned to the waterway alive.
Andrew_W
I don't know, you are meant to be a licensed course fishing member to fish them, which i am not, and i haven't been caught so it guess its monitored to hard out. It doesnt run into natural waterway, its all just man made dams. they are meant to be in there to stop the weed or something
