Ghaz
Hi all, thought i'd say hi an introduce myself, stumbled across this forum while looking for info on making a new tank. have gotten back into fish the last 4ish months, my main passion is birds, but thought id get into fish again. i have a cold native tank with bullies, eels, koura, and whitebait, all caught from the stream in my backyard. my ex-tropical 400L tank i say ex as it recently smashed while at work a week ago, lost all fish but i did have a couple of white oscars, a pleco, and couple of gold severum. and have a gold fantail and black moor i got for my GF. looking for a new main tank and some other tanks to get more oscars and sev's, and maybe get into some chichlids. my avairy birds are 2 sun conures breeding, a few bourkes, touquisines, green split blue ringneck paired with a grey, quail. other birds ring neck pheasants, my late grandads show pigeons, sebrights, and so indian runners. Ghaz
yeah its not too bad, got a few eels i feed about once a fortnight biggest one that comes every time is about 60cm long. lots of oxygen weed as well good for the gold fish, which reminds me i need to get rid of it once it gets sunny so if any1 needs it..., will post it in private trade area for people in the next month. seems theres less and less crawlies in the stream now as opposed to a few years ago when they were out every night. jus need to save for the new tank now. but i was lucky i had the tank in the bach rather than the main house.
