Stella Posted October 18, 2008 Report Share Posted October 18, 2008 I use duckweed in tanks that have fish which normally live in places with lots of forest and riparian cover. I use a net about every two weeks to remove 1/2 to 2/3 of it. Removing it is also removing the excess nutrients that it is using to grow.
