Caryl
We thoroughly enjoyed the first sunny day we have had for many weeks. We headed down the Kaikoura coast with the MX5 club. First we were held up by this... We then visited this... and enjoyed lunch here (the ugly big green thing wasn't with us  )... then we admired the view we had a laugh at a roadsign got to play with the seals at Ohau Falls then had afternoon tea at The Store at Kekerengu A great way to spend the day. smidey
is there a car rule that all MX5's are to be backed into parallel parks? you could sell the "ugly big green thing" & buy two MX5's couldn't ya? the impala in the 2nd pic would be my choice but each to their own. smidey
hey caryl, have you seen this MX5000? Now thats what the MX5 should have been "unmentionable site" #176907931
David R
Would be interesting to see how it handled with all the weight over the front, they're a well balanced little car and can handle quite well. I'd pick a 13b or just supercharge the factory 1800, but as you said, each to their own. Oh yeah, looks like a good day out! Where was the train? Caryl
The handling of that car is lousy but it goes well in a straight line. It doesn't like corners. We have seen that car "in the flesh" and talked to the owner. Very nice installation with a great V8 burble exhaust. In fact I have a number of up close photos of it. The train was in Blenheim on its way south.
