alanmin4304
I use it in all my planted tanks but under washed sand and I have no problem with it.
Hoody
I seem to have alot of trouble with it? When I first set up my tank it took AGE'S to clear. It's ok now but have to be VERY carfull not to disturb it when gravel cleaning, removing plant's ect or it all get's stired up again. Give it a chance, it will clear. I ran my filter and just kept changing the filter wool
alanmin4304
I find sand holds it down better than gravel (still get a problem if pulling out deep rooted plants)
IHBR
I using that stuff on two of my tanks at the moment and on others in the past, underneath fine and normal sized gravel and never had any problems. How deep is the layer of gravel that you have on top of the aquabasis? I like to have at least 5cm when using it.

IHBR
I don't think thats deep enough especially if gravel/stones you are using are quite coarse.

Yeah 5cm's probably the minimum you'd likely want with the aquabasis
