Now my partner has eaten it all (I dont like coconut) its perfectly halfed but now what do I do? Boil it? DSo i need to take the Whiskery things off it fully? Scrapped out all teh white stuff inside by cutting then into small cubes and using a knife, plying them out. Scraped of most of the hair on it leaving just a small bit for the GBAs then Boiled for about 10 mins. mumzy50 Posted July 25, 2008 Report Share Posted July 25, 2008 I just made a hole big enought for them to go in.Then i scored the insides with a screw driver,and put it in my oven on 100 for about hour.The coconut comes away from the insides clean as.Then gave it a rinse and put it in my tank.I had no problems. Aquatopia Posted July 25, 2008 Report Share Posted July 25, 2008 I reckon it would be wise to boil it (leave the whiskers on if u like) because it may have been sprayed with pesticides.
