spoon
dont use table salt unless its non-iodised and donsent have a anti caking agent both of these are toxic try an organic salt or even better buy proper marine salt. the fighter will not like the salt for long periods of time. if u are doin this to help cure whitespot its fine but if a petshop or somebody told u mollies need salt i wouldnt bother unless ur going to set up a brackish tank with brackish fish(not fighters) mollies do better in a brackish(slightly salty) environment but can survive well in freshwater too u will just just have to keep the water clean and preferably hard and alkaline(also not good for fighters, they like softer more acid or neutral water)
Keri Anne
Use "Tonic salt" from your pet shop. Instructions on the bag but you might want to just half dose if you want to keep the fighter in there.
Adrienne
I don't know what the instructions on the tonic salt say but I have in the past dosed fighter tanks with rock salt at 1 gram per litre of water.
