plants wrinking on the ends

why are my plants getting wrinkly end curling on the ends of them look like they are getting shrink wraped :-? lights are on 12hrs day i use flourish iron and excell and a co2 defuser

any help would be appericated

they don't look too bad to me. why have you got a diffuser going that heavily? doesn't it drive off the co2?

blue hygrophila (lacustris) is the name. you may find that u lose a lot of those leaves as it may have been cultivated emersed. but u've got some good new growth happening!

Looks like Hygrophila stricta grown emersed and the emersed growth will not convert to submersed. When you have enough new submersed growth you can nip it off and replant it and the remaining root will grow new submersed growth also. The bit in the middle makes good compost.
