nemines Posted July 13, 2008 Report Share Posted July 13, 2008 they don't look too bad to me. why have you got a diffuser going that heavily? doesn't it drive off the co2? blue hygrophila (lacustris) is the name. you may find that u lose a lot of those leaves as it may have been cultivated emersed. but u've got some good new growth happening! alanmin4304 Posted July 13, 2008 Report Share Posted July 13, 2008 Looks like Hygrophila stricta grown emersed and the emersed growth will not convert to submersed. When you have enough new submersed growth you can nip it off and replant it and the remaining root will grow new submersed growth also. The bit in the middle makes good compost.
