Luke*
ummmmm look up planted tanks on google images for some ideas
SpidersWeb
How big is it? Looks a little small for angels in the photo (at least adult angels anyway). Angels do grow quite quick. Looks like a nice tidy setup you've got

Dixon1990
If you want something bigger you could go for some rams or apistos, very nice fish

Guest
Yeah they're blue rams. Most people have trouble keeping them alive though as they don't seem to be hardy. I think one of the reasons was because most of them are imported.
Dixon1990
If you get NZ Bred ones they are usually easier to look after. Also Bolivian Rams are easy to keep
Afrikan
Ages ago as of about 2 years ago, the rams that came into the country were of great health, we had a couple of pairs that lasted a long time... even bred in the planted tank, really healthy... but have noticed alot that have come in recently... like months ago till now are of poor health, have hollow guts, just not the fish that used to come in ages ago. Guest
I had two that were really healthy if they were male and female I would have kept them and bred them but they were two males and I couldn't find any females so I got rid of them. They also got really aggressive as and my CT fighter got caught in the middle and got a bit wasted. All his fins grew back but his tail never did
fishoe
why does my fighter gasp air at the surface then goback down to bottom and blow 2 bubbles :-? but looks cool ,also what do they eat dosen't like that flake food
Guest
Thats what fighters do. Does it gasp on the bottom of the tank? If you put a lid in the tank he may make a bubble nest which is really cool to watch him make it. This is a bubble nest from the top veiw just made on the waters surface http://www.flippersandfins.net/Images/Im000328.jpg
