Isn't the bloat treatment for cows to stab them in the tummy with a sharp knife? :o Hope that's not the plan for fish!

works not quite as drastic as that when pulling up local marines from a great depth and the swim bladder has inflated, normally use a syringe

no there is a treatment that is used as well

I thought the same after reading about it, it seems like good stuff.. Very helpful when you keep tropehus etc :)

I started looking through the list of allowed animal drugs on the maf site and got bored think it might be under all sorts of different names, or because its a specialised fish drug noone has bothered getting it approved and imported it for sale.

Pretty sure he's read that :) Thats probably where he's getting the med advice from..

i have used metro it worked on mbuna but not on the tropheus and the article states that clout is more effective and curing, metro only good for stopping the spread..

I got some clout in a couple of years back on the off chance it would be let thru . the package was oppened but they passed it so im guessing i was either lucky or its allowed . it wasnt very expensive either. think i got it from aquariumpros
