Dixon1990
Is that an albino? or just golden?
Cheesejawa
Is that an albino? or just golden? Golden I dont think theres such thing as an albino severum yet. Acording to Mr G oogle, gold and green are the main varietys but I beleive there may be another variety. red finned maybe? And I assume that you mean heros severum and not another type of severum as it the most common type. This may be completly unrelated but From searching google I found What appears to be a Independent rock from Georgia band named Heros Severum.
bulldogod
Yeah, must be golden, looks yellow, few differant coloured ones would look cool in tank.

Dubbo
I got 2 gold ones and 1 green one (which at the moment looks black), most green ones I've seen have very faded green color, wonder if they get paler as they get bigger.
David R
My red-head (Heros sp. 'Rotkeil') Its not a good pic, looks like the red was added on with MSPaint!
Dixon1990
So its not a severum?
David R
Well, what is a severum? The red-heads are an un-named member of the Heros genus, closely related to H. severus and possibly even a subspecies or colour varient of that species. Does that make them a severum? AFAIK there aren't any rules regarding common names, so if I decide to call it a super red-headed pikachu harikrishna severum then thats fine. I don't think it would become widely used and accepted though...
SpidersWeb
Yeah what he said. In my book, its a Severum but not Heros Severus (spelling?)

Ira
I don't really care if it's a heros severum or not, I want two of them!
David R
The best part is that it was in with the green severums at Jansens Silverdale for the normal green severum price. I noticed the black bars and orangeish fins... So yeah, I guess it is a severum!!
