Um so what does the licence require? What type of licences are their? Is there a licence per each specie or endangered/difficulty level. I know they do best outside, but I'm kinda worried that a couple of cages of lizards outside (thinking of putting the beardy out too) will just give the lowlifes a good reason to jump the fence... Do some fake rocks on the walls and have the front panel glass that slides up so you can chuck in flys and what not. Im going to try and attach some moss/liken to the side of my wooden one. Even 2 females can fight quite hard! Call your local DOC office re permits and read through ALL of that site i linked. Rebecca Posted June 16, 2008 Report Share Posted June 16, 2008 There are more than enough species on the A permit to keep you going for years learning about them. I think it's a good system in that you gain experience before being able to keep the rarer and more delicate species. I have a permit and keep 4 varieties on it and am always learning. Be warned though they are addictive. And I'm fairly sure Tuataras are only available to licensed zoos, education or research facilites being a C category. My bad I've been thinking about where I can put an outdoor cage, and I think I've got a spot where I can put it where only one neighbour would be able to see it, so I don't think it will attract too many lowlifes.
