Afrikan
Mine won't stop breeding :-? We have had a big spawn of them, the babies happily let out by dad, next thing, the same week, he is back fanning eggs again.... We have ours up on the top rack in fish shed... with a good water flow, soft water... and no light on the tank... She was stacked with eggs... however, we had her on her own for sometime... placed her in the tank with a big male and hello the next day he's fanning... Caryl
If they are like the commons they seem to go in cycles. Breed non-stop and then stop for no apparent reason. :-? Got plenty of tight spots for them to lay eggs in?
mumzy50
I will take him out for a week and see if he missed her.Tank setting are fine, plenty places to go and nest.If he does not do it he can join the turtles.Just joking
