Leroy
Bit of an odd question... Anybody aware of what the plants are in the 'managers' tank that are on the ground (small .5cm broadsword carpet like thing) and the other odd plant growing on the wood in there? These are the best descriptions I can get unfortunately lol. Partner is curious and would love to know what it is/get hold of some. Of course, she forgot to ask at the time...
ryanjury
I am pretty sure there is glosso as the ground cover in that tank I believe it is a NZ native but im not too sure, if you ring and ask for pete im sure he will know
Leroy
Oh is that all  She made it out like it was some new, rare plant. Guess I'll have to get her some then.
ryanjury
I don't know for sure what it is im not into plants, you are talking about the tank at wetpets aren't you? The one sort of just behind the counter?
Leroy
Ha, oops. Yeah the one at wetpets. Completely forgot to say what place it was at. I'd say it would be glosso going by what she's told me
alanmin4304
I have glosso grown emersed (which is how it is usually grown when you buy it). I can take a bit to the conference to pass on to someone from near you if you wish. BE WARNED-----It is very hard to plant other than in sand because it is such a small plant with small leaves and tiny roots. It also requires very strong light. Let me know if you want a clump to start you off.
Stella
try a PM to Nooboon. He is the one who runs that tank. Beware that he is also rarely on here.... A better bet would be to look up the Wet Pets email address and put Peter in the subject line. He responds quickly to that.
supasi
Its Glosso Youll need good lighting and CO2 or flourish Excel if you want to make it grow like that. As stated in above threads, it is a NZ native and can be found aorund many lakes and sreams. That is Petes tank. He kindly gave me some cuttings a while ago.
