henward Posted May 12, 2008 Report Share Posted May 12, 2008 so funny i gave my jardinii a shrimp thats so big that its almost 3 times the size of its head. a big prawn. it takes 15 mins to swallow but finally it does. what a pig. sorry i just found it funny most fish would drop the food it wouldnt relent, kept on trying, then shaking its head untill it was bent and broken and able to be swallowed. now 14 inches:D the head seems so small compaired to its body Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It would eat all the shrimp pellets until its mouth was stuffed full and it would vomit them up. Then start eating them again along with the gravel. Can and will fit entire shrimp pellets and back swimmers into its mouth without being able to swallow. It is very determined to swallow and takes forever to give up.
