Zabman
Hi All, I would like to start culturing some microworm, I have seen how to do this etc, what my question is... Is there anywhere in West Auckland that I can get some of these microworms to start my culture?
ryanjury
I'm sure someone up there can give you some They're easy to culture I use bread and yeast for a quick culture and rolled oats and yeast for a long term culture..

ryanjury
Awesome glad you got some And 2 days early how did you know when they were supposed to breed?
Zabman
A Guess! Its only the 5th spawn, but her belly has always been the same size beforehand and it has been 12 days between the 1st 4. They always eat them though
ANB001
Those microworms are also called grindall? or there are another kind?
Barrie
The Grindals are 500 times bigger Micros at their largest would get no bigger than 2 or 3 mm in length
alanmin4304
Grindal worms fit nicely between microworms and whiteworms. If you remove angel eggs they have some considerable difficulty eating them. I used to have eight pairs spawnining all the time and always removed the eggs. You must be feeding them well to have them laying consistantly at 12 days.

Angelicious on Trade Me, whom is also out west has fantastic cultures and is a microworm master.

Can just picture them coming out then going back in again, then being respawned.
