Cutting Glass

I have a glass cutter and have finally bought some glass.

The glass is 5mm thick:

2 x

Length 90.3cm

Height 74.7cm

2 x

Length 1m 20cm

Height 90.2cm

WHat else do i need to cut the glass? I want to make some small cubes(20-30cm) and some small tanks suitable for breeding killie and tetra.

Ive searched for the instructions but I cant find them but basicly, you need to make one single cut. If you get misses (and you will know what I mean if you get them) just join them up rather than go over the whole cut as a double cut will transform the nature of the cut and probably cause it to break off line.

Use a light oil as Alan mentioned(?) we use inox and make a single firm score along the glass.

Depending on how much of an offcut you have depends on weather you snap the glass over the edge of a table or straight edge or weather you put the end of the cutter under the glass and put downwards pressure on both sides.
