What makes a good angel

Hi All.

It is an unfortunate state of affairs when you buy two or more "Really Good Looking" fish; take them home and breed them, and end up with all sorts of nondescript colours, patterns and even deformities.

That is not to say don't do it; I had to start the same way and it just means that it takes an extra couple of generations to get the fish that "YOU THINK ARE THE PERFECT SPECIMENS."

Jet "Black Lace Veiltails" are worth the time, effort and money.

Good luck.

Hi All.

Thanks for that caper.

I (him) not a her, avatar is the Female wild caught "Altum" angel that I used to breed from.

My avatar doesn't show it very well but there are several more "Altum's" in there as well.

This is the original picture we use on our letterhead.

There are a lot of things to look for in ANY fish that you buy and if you want to breed those fish you must be more vigilant.

Below is my latest aquisition, the TIGER STRIPED or ZEBRA Angel
