ryanjury Posted December 30, 2007 Report Share Posted December 30, 2007 They have been bred in NZ and there is an article on the fnzas site (not the forums, drop the "fishroom" off the address in your bar and you'll find it) I too was considering trying them but they seem like alot of work and im don't have the time at the moment.. ryanjury Posted December 30, 2007 Report Share Posted December 30, 2007 Yeah I think the main things were keeping the tanks blacked out, getting the right water to start with and feeding/maintaining the babies tank when they were younger so you don't loose heaps.. Good luck though and fill everyone in on your progress if you do it, it would be good to see people breeding them locally, I have heard they are all wild caught stock that gets imported which is why they're expensive..
