Fmxmatt
Where do most of you hobbyists get your plumbing parts from for your sump requirements? I.e Plastic pipe/tube, valves, elbows, T's etc. (if its Online or in CHCH even better!) Been to Bunnings and Titre Men but they dont have anything worth looking at. livingart
yellow pages for plumbing supplies, maybe
camnbron
Couple of different places that stock plumbing parts: Bunnings have marley and hansen fittings, clear hose and marley pipe RD1 have hansen fittings (for troughs and the like) Mastertrade have marley and hansen fittings and marley pipe Your local plumbing shop would be your best bet - just wander in and tell them what you want, they should have it. We have Shapleys in Whakatane, but you probably have a plumbing world in CHCH or something similar.
Fmxmatt
I thought about Plumbing world, but their website basically looks like all bath/kitchen fittings, not the "raw" parts as I like to call em

Navarre
Hi Ya, I have plumbed several tanks now and have found that Mico (in Tuam I think) and Plumbling World pretty good. There are also Irrigation supply shops around town One near Bunnnings Tower Junction is good and they have hard and soft fittings. Adrienne
My husband says to go look at the low pressure tubing in the plumbing section and you can get the joiners and valves and pipes and some solvent cement, put them altogether to make sure they fit and then glue them. jolliolli
We get our hansen fittings from a placed called the irrigation warehouse on annex road. Theres also a place called Plumbing & Irrigation Supplies 1988 Ltd on sandyford st in sydenham which sells all the hansen fittings. For piping eg the return pipe etc i go to para on moorhouse ave. This weekend my other half has just replumbed our tank with 32mm pipe for the return and flexible hose in to the sump etc so we have been at the irrigation places several times this week
