They look like they dig for a reason but it;s lost on me. They are easy enough to keep and make sure they can get food as mine don't come to the surface to feed and can miss out sometimes. The get nice colour too They are eationg algae and detritus out of the substrate - they just 'dig' to get at the good bits that they can smell.
