Lamarck Angel

Featured Replies

Reef,

Can you keep Lamarcks in pairs???, in other words can I introduce a female for my big boy Lamarck, given hes a mature, 5-6" long male, and quite stroppy?

would be a risk as they can fight even if a female.

Might be ok if you removed the male for a week and introduced them at the same time.

yes, very reef safe and my large male is a stunner, with long threadfins.

But all info says they are peaceful and timid - yeah right.

as above, not mine. He's not passive to anyone

Thanks reef, think I'll leave him single, he's calmed down and stopped beating up the orange shoulder tang.

Lots of fish tend to get more aggressive when they get bigger. Larmacks are fine when small, but once they get large they will get more stroppy.

Sounds just like people!
