nick777
Spliting shell Box turtle - one of the few species that's able to completely tuck into its shell The bottom shell can split into two which is attractive to snakes, the turtle then closes it which traps and kills the snake and eats it. How clever!~

coelacanth
that would be the yellow-margined box turtle (Cuora flavomarginata). In China it is known as the snake-eating turtle, a name that is also sometimes used as the English name. However the name is based on a folk belief and has no basis in fact.
