djsurfs
Does anyone know where I might find a 'White' Sun Coral? Sorry, No... LOL I googled up that same pic, and found a lot of other amazing different colours! Do let us know if you locate/obtain any different specimens! tHEcONCH
FYI - don't rush to see Redwood's latest shipment. Apparently (Someone who shall remain nameless) hasn't got around to putting most of it out, and you aren't allowed to view it out the back, so we'll all have to just wait until he does, I guess. Maybe this weekend, maybe not - who knows? :-?
JoeBlog
I went to check it out for fun as well. The nameless certainly has an interesting strategy for selling stock. But, that adds to the character of the place However, the corals that were placed out in the shop were surprisingly LARGE. There is a table coral there that's bigger than I've ever seen for sale (in NZ). Granted, it was TOTALLY brown, but good shape and may be a nice color eventually. There was also a massive hydno that I think most people would have trouble finding a place for. There were also some huge brains that were the nicest and wish I did have the space. tHEcONCH
Yep, there were some nice big bits - that table acro was pretty spectacular, in a beige kind of way
Fmxmatt
I picked up a nice looking white bubble coral from Redwood, different to what i've seen before because its like a branch with bits of bubble on each tip. Still looking for a green one tho

camnbron
Thanks to reef (for the pic as well), I'm getting something very cool for Christmas... Those lucky Aussies, all those different variations of Acans they have.. interesting to see on the MASA forum how much the Americans are willing to pay for them (i.e. $750-800) Here are some pics from their "show off to the americans" topic This one is a really blurry pic but you get the idea... Sapphire
I like that second one down in your pics too!! If only....!! Anyway, made a quick dash to Johns.... you know how I wasn't going to buy anymore for a bit, ....... well it's my perogative to change my mind, being female and all, so am getting an awesome green torch (also something I had decided against because of the size etc!!), green hydnophora! Yay!!
wasp
how big is your tank Saphire? Both those corals can sting their neighbours.
Sapphire
It's only a RSM so I have planned some rearrangement and also am leaving a good deal of space between them and other corals (I don't have that many anyway). I think after these corals I won't be able to put much more in. How much space do you think will be needed around the hydno?
reef
The hydros put out long tentacles at night; you need about 100mm space, Also depends on current in the tank, more current longer the tentacles.
Sapphire
Thanks. will do. Where it's going is in an area of good current but there will be plenty of room. The torch isn't big at the moment but I'm moving a couple of things around so when it goes in there will be no chance of it touching anything as it grows. I had originally decided against a torch because of how aggressive they are and how much room would be required but this one is such a fantastic colour (IMO) that I caved in!
