jim r
If a stunted fish mated successfully would the resulting fry be stunted?
Ianab
No... if the stunting was due to environment. The offspring would have the normal genetics and grow normally ( as long as they had food and space). If the parent fish is genetically a dwarf, then the offspring are likely to be too. livingart
as Ianab said it depends on if stunting is environmetal or genetic genetic means that possibly some of the young will be stunted or carrying the gene Ryukin goldfish always look deformed to me but beauty is in the eye of the betrothed, sorry beholder
David R
Look at it this way; if you chopped off your arm, then mated successfully with a woman who had also chopped off her arm would your fry be missing an arm?
